Welcome Ceremony
The Welcome Ceremony kicks off the week, giving Froshies a taste of what’s ahead during Orientation week, featuring opening remarks from UTMSU executives, the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), the Orientation team, and your leaders.
Consent and Communication
A workshop aiming to create a safe and more informed community with regard to consent and communication.
Group Time & Lunch
Group time is the chance to make close friends, play fun games, as well as obtain valuable advice on university life from your leaders!
The Realms of Wonder: A Legendary Scavenger Hunt
Designed to help familiarize yourself with the campus layout, engage in fun activities and bond with your team as you race to complete the scavenger hunt against other houses!
Mentalist Show
The Mentalist, Yan Markson, joins us with a show-stopping performance, that is always a highlight for Orientation Week!
Sunset Fest
Join us for the Sunset Fest, where performances, melodies, and flavours dance beneath the painted canvas of the setting sun, weaving an evening full of pure enchantment.
Breakfast & IEC Orientation
The International Education Centre (IEC) will be holding its Orientation for incoming International first-year students. We’ll be having breakfast!
Group Time
Group Time is the chance to ask your leaders questions on university life, with insights on resources, classes, opportunities, etc! It’s also a chance to get to meet other first-years in the same boat as you!
Academic Department Orientation
In collaboration with the Centre of Student Engagement (CSE), we will be offering academic workshops divided by department – aiming to guide students with course exploration and opportunities within their respective programs.
BBQ Lunch & CSE Fair
We bring you our very own UTMSU carnival in partnership with the Centre of Student Engagement (CSE). Enjoy fun rides, carnival games, and a BBQ lunch from the Blind Duck Pub!
Group Time
This is your chance to create and practice your unique cheer with your house, in preparation for the Battle for the House Cup afterwards!
Battle for the House Cup
A historic battle in which houses will have a chance to compete against each other with their own unique cheers, and showcase their UTM spirit!
Glow & Foam Party
A UTMSU exclusive event! Originally called the ‘Paint and Foam Party’, get ready to be splashed with paint and covered in foam! With an additional twist this year – wear your white shirt and you’ll glow!
Paint Night
An alternative to the Glow & Foam Party is our Paint Night! No expertise is required – just your imagination and flowing colours needed to craft your masterpiece.
Tri-campus Parade
The Tri-Campus Parade and Clubs Fair gathers students across all three campuses to showcase our campus spirit, parade through the streets of Downtown Toronto and enjoy an amazing Fair!
Twilight Pub Night
Twilight Pub Night Step into the allure of twilight at the Blind Duck Pub! Enjoy a classic UTMSU pub night with a DJ and plenty of dancing! Snaptique will be there with their Photo Booth from 8PM to 12AM to capture fun photos. You’ll be able to take a little photo print out souvenir home as a memory of your time at LEGENDS’23! Moonlight Cruise
An add-on, off-campus event which includes a three-hour trip around the Toronto Islands. The Moonlight Cruise is a night of amazing Toronto views, dinner, and a party filled with music and dancing!
